Husband, Dad, and Leader… As well as Chief Bottle Washer, Honey-Do
List Completer, Door Holder, and General All Around Good Guy… (If I do
say so myself!)

In 1997 I graduated from Western Carolina University and began my teaching career at Jonathan Valley Elementary. I taught there until 2003, when I accepted a position as assistant principal at Tuscola High School. In 2008, I was given the opportunity to move into the Technology Department for Haywood County Schools. In 2015, I was also assigned the responsibility of managing the Transportation Department. In 2018, I accepted the post as principal at Tuscola High School, and in July of 2020 I was able to transfer to an elementary position. I currently serve as the principal at Hazelwood Elementary. I am honored to be able to come to work each day and lead an amazing staff and a great group of students.
